'Coolie' Box Office collection day 12: Rajinikanth’s gangster drama sees a MAJOR dip on second Monday; crosses Rs 260 crore mark in India

Despite this sharp fall, the gangster drama has now crossed the impressive Rs 260 crore mark in India, proving that Rajinikanth’s star power is still a force at the box office.According to Sacnilk, ‘Coolie’ collected only Rs 3 crore net in India on its second Monday. This marks the weakest day for the film since its release on 14 August. The total collection now stands at Rs 260.35 crore net in India.The gangster drama had opened in cinemas on the same day as Ayan Mukerji’s ‘War 2’, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. While ‘Coolie’ has stayed ahead in the box office race, Day 12 clearly shows that its strong run is slowing down.The film’s occupancy numbers also dipped on Day 12 across languages. The Tamil version recorded 13.67% occupancy, the Hindi version 8.61%, and the Telugu version 15.53%. Multiple cameos here not only land perfectly but also add real weight to the story, with well-timed twists keeping the audience hooked.”
