A year has passed since India ended their 17-year wait for a T20 World Cup title, securing the trophy in a thrilling final against South Africa at Kensington Oval. The intense match went down to the wire, with India ultimately holding their composure to seal the victory.

India's triumph was the result of an exceptional, undefeated campaign marked by dominance and resilience.

One of the tournament's highlights was the high-stakes clash between India and Pakistan. "It wasn't just a game," Rohit Sharma stated. "The atmosphere was electric, with tight security and passionate fans everywhere. It felt like a major festival."

India prevailed over Pakistan by six runs in a tense, low-scoring contest. Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, taking 3 wickets for 14 runs.

Despite an early batting collapse, Rishabh Pant's aggressive 42 off 31 balls steadied the innings, pushing India to a total of 119. "His 42 was like scoring 70 on that pitch," Rohit Sharma noted. "We believed that even 119 could be enough with our bowling attack."

Rohit Sharma praised Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh for their exceptional execution of the game plan. "Bumrah is a game-changer, consistently taking wickets and restricting runs. Arshdeep was equally brilliant, and their contributions were vital in securing our victory."

From the electrifying India-Pakistan match to the nail-biting final in Barbados, Rohit Sharma's reflections highlight the team's unforgettable achievements and the memories they created for the nation.
